Public Schools

The City of Sunrise is home to seven elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. Two of our middle schools and six of our elementary schools have achieved an "A" rating under the State of Florida's "A+ Plan for Education," which assigns schools a performance grade based primarily on student achievement data from the FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test).
